Scholar Welcome 2024 – VIC
Recently, the Victorian Committee gathered in Melbourne for a truly special occasion – the annual Scholar Welcome Event, graciously hosted by our gold partner, Allens. It was an evening filled with warmth, anticipation, and the sense of community.
We were thrilled to welcome ten new scholars into our fold, joining our returning 16 scholars who continue to inspire us with their dedication and passion.
The event kicked off with addresses from speakers who embody the spirit of our foundation. Richard Spirio, the managing partner at Allens, set the tone with his inspiring words, reaffirming the firm’s commitment to fostering talent and creating pathways to success. Nic Bills, our Victorian Committee Chair, followed suit with words of encouragement and support, underscoring the importance of community in our shared journey.
But perhaps the most poignant moment of the evening came from Curtis Hass, a past Allens scholar who has since embarked on a remarkable journey, now returning to Allens as an employee. His story served as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact of our foundation, and the endless possibilities that await each and every one of our scholars.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Allens for their unwavering support and generosity in hosting this event. Your commitment to our cause is truly inspiring, and we are honored to partner with you in shaping the future of our scholars.
