The Australian Marriage Equality Scholarship (awarded in perpetuity)
The Australian Marriage Equality Scholarship was created through an enduring impact grant from Australian Marriage Equality. The scholarship celebrates the achievement of marriage equality and the efforts of so many to get us there.
The Australian Marriage Equality Scholarship (awarded in perpetuity) is awarded to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ students or LGBTQIA+ students from rural, regional or remote Australia.
The Jessica Bastow Scholarship (awarded in perpetuity)
Jessica (Jess) Bastow is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a successful business woman. Jess founded and leads some of Western Australia’s highest quality and most celebrated residential home building companies, as well as managing an extensive global property portfolio and a diverse investment portfolio. Jess is deeply committed to giving back and seeing young LGBTQIA+ Australians thrive. She is a Cornerstone member of The Pinnacle Foundation and has already generously funded 12 Olrem Pinnacle Foundation Scholarships.
Jess along with her family have created The Jessica Bastow Scholarship (to be awarded in perpetuity) to honour Jess’ significant and sustained community and business contributions. Every day, Jess shows what is possible, overcoming challenges and inspiring others to strive to realise their full potential.
The Jessica Bastow Scholarship (awarded in perpetuity) is open to young LGBTQIA+ Western Australians studying medicine.
The Sam Smith Scholarship powered by UnLtd (awarded in perpetuity)
Social purpose organisation UnLtd rallied the media, marketing and creative industries to create The Sam Smith Scholarship. The scholarship honours one of the most energetic, driven and generous men to work in the digital media industry, who sadly lost his battle to brain cancer in 2020.
The Sam Smith Scholarship powered by UnLtd (awarded in perpetuity) is awarded to LGBTQIA+ students studying in the fields of marketing, advertising, technology or communication.
