End of Year Fundraiser 2023 – QLD

Last week, the QLD Committee hosted a heartwarming End of Year charity fundraiser, weaving together tales of empowerment, growth, and the transformative power of education in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Fireside chats hosted by our dedicated committee members, featuring Jay (current scholar), Nia Franks (mentor and committee member), and Greg Livingstone (Chair of Pinnacle). Their stories illuminated the profound impact of The Pinnacle Foundation on individuals and the community as a whole.

Jay, a first-year scholar and inspiring trans man, shared his journey—how Pinnacle has not just influenced his studies and aspirations but has become a pillar of support and belonging.

Nia spoke passionately about the transformative power of mentorship, highlighting the incredible growth she witnessed in her scholar over three impactful years with the foundation.

Greg Livingstone, Chair of Pinnacle, took us on a journey from the foundation’s humble beginnings to its current national presence, with over 100 scholars set to shine in 2024.

A huge THANK YOU to KPMG for their generous sponsorship. Your support made this event possible, allowing us to continue fostering education, empowerment, and a sense of community.
