I am humbly grateful for The Pinnacle Foundation awarding me a Maurice Joyce Named Scholarship, which has provided me with extraordinary opportunities in achieving my goal to become a paramedic.

My mentor is just as valuable because she has walked a similar path, someone I trust and is proof of hard work. In my experience, it’s easy to feel isolated living in a small country town, but with Pinnacle’s support I feel part of a LGBT+ community.
