In my fifth year of a Bachelor of Law (Honours)/Arts at Monash University, I am excited by all things public policy.
The experience of growing up in a community that did not accept my sexuality left me with a desire to build a fairer society, where fewer are alienated and alone.
My interest in a fairer society has led me to intern for politicians in Victoria Parliament and the United States’ Congress. I have interned for the Grattan Institute think tank, been a paralegal both in the community legal and plaintiff law sectors and as a consultant, analysed the financial state of a national, hospice-care organisation.
In my spare time, I organise and lead a biannual 3 day camp for teenagers from a refugee and migrant background.
