Zoe (she/her)

Hi, my name is Zoe and in 2024 I’ll be studying a Bachelor of Computer Science at Monash University in Clayton. After I finish my degree in 2026, I hope to work as a cybersecurity analyst, or perhaps I’ll decide to continue my education by pursuing a Master of Cybersecurity. I love to learn about new technology and I hope that when I’m finished my degree, I’ll be able to use it to protect people against cyber threats. I’ve played netball for almost ten years, and I coached for six years as well, with a range of incredible young netballers. I like to read, I make jewellery, and my favourite way to end a big day is by watching an episode of whatever tv show I’m watching at the time.

I applied for a Pinnacle Foundation scholarship because I personally didn’t grow up with any queer role models that were just normal people, not celebrities, and I want to show other high school students that there doesn’t need to be anything standing between who they are, and what they want to achieve.
