Hey you mob, my name is Meissa, I am a 25-year-old, Wiradjuri, Gamilaroi, and Awabakal, Queer woman living and studying on Dharawal Country at the University of Wollongong.

Throughout 2026, I will be in my final year of a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Indigenous Studies and Sociology and double minoring in Visual Arts and Modern History.

After I graduate at the end of 2026, I am looking to continue with postgraduate study and study a Masters. I am working towards building my career as a sociological researcher, and hope to use my degree to help people from marginalised communities with a focus on supporting Indigenous and LGBTQIA+ communities.
