Tara (she/they)

Hi, my name is Tara and I am studying a Bachelor of Mathematics and Education (secondary) at the University of Queensland. I grew up in Townsville, North Queensland where I fell in love with maths through school, and with teaching through helping my friends with school as well as helping to teach dance, as dancing has always been a hobby of mine. I have since moved down to Brisbane to commence my dream of becoming a maths teacher.

I hope to bring diversity to the classroom and to help as many young people succeed the best I can. I am extremely grateful to be accepted to the Pinnacle family and I am grateful for all the support they are offering me to complete my studies.
