Sam (he/him)

Hello, my name is Sam. I am currently a fourth year Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine student at the University of New South Wales and am due to complete my degree in 2025. 

I aspire to specialise in sexual and reproductive health. I am particularly passionate about making healthcare more sensitive to and inclusive of issues faced by the LGBTIQ+ population and have advocated for medical curriculum reform throughout my studies to reflect changes I hope to see in the future. 

I am deeply grateful to The Pinnacle Foundation and Dr Vinay Kumar for awarding me this scholarship. The financial support, mentorship, and sense of community that I will receive over the next three years are invaluable in helping me reach my potential.
