Isaac (he/him)

Juris Doctor

Hey, I’m Isaac! I grew up in Geelong, on Wadawurrung Country. I am a final year Juris Doctor student at The University of Melbourne. Prior to commencing law, I worked in health policy. A highlight of mine was working at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law in Washington D.C. I researched legal solutions to improve access to, and uptake of, novel HIV prophylactics across USA. This experience gave impetus to become a legal practitioner – get closer to the people impacted by policy and regulation.

Guided by my interests in social justice and public health, I aspire to practice law in the areas of environment, business and human rights, and international arbitration. I spend my spare time running or complaining about sore legs. I have previously held a scholarship with the Victorian Institute of Sport. I was lucky enough to represent Australia in the 1500m at the 2016 World Junior Championships and 2017 World University Games. On weekends, my mood is volatile in accordance with the performance of St Kilda FC.

I am immensely grateful to Geoffrey Smith and Gary Singer for their generous support. To The Pinnacle Foundation, I am honoured and excited to join the family!
