Georgia (she/her)

Hi all! I’m Georgia and I’m from regional Australia on Gundungurra land. I’m in my second year of five studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations and a Bachelor of Law at the University of Sydney. In my spare time I am passionate about advocating for gender equality and climate justice. As a 2019-2020 Girl Up Teen Advisor, a 2023 Plan Youth Activist and Delegate to COP 28, making the world a better place through research, public policy, community action and organising is incredibly important to me. My degree allows me to understand global issues and solutions to these issues, preparing me for a career advocating for positive change.

I’m incredibly grateful to The Pinnacle Foundation and Allens for the opportunity to be a Pinnacle scholar in 2024. This scholarship provides me with the opportunity to dedicate myself to my studies and advocacy work, allowing me to be the best student and advocate possible. It is an honour to join such an amazing organisation and I am excited to meet my fellow scholars.
