Eve (she/her)

My name is Eve I am studying a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). I will be in my third year of studying in 2024, which will be my last year in my current course. I study at the University of Wollongong and attend at the Wollongong campus. I am a proud gumbaynggirr and bisexual woman with a compassionate heart and committed mind. My proudest moment would be getting accepted into a university course that I am very passionate about.

As the first person in my family to attend university I feel very proud as well as grateful to be here. I applied for The Pinnacle Foundation scholarship not only because of the generous financial support, but also for the opportunities such as the mentorship program. The Pinnacle Foundation scholarship felt like the best opportunity for me to connect with my identity and take charge of my future. My aspiration for life is to further my studies in psychology and eventually become a registered psychologist. I would like to one day own a practice specialising in treatment of marginalised and disadvantaged youths. My ultimate life goal is to make tangible contributions to my community.
