Connor (he/him)

Hi, my name’s Connor and I am a third year Juris Doctor student at Melbourne Law School. I grew up in Perth on Whadjuck Noongar Country but moved to Melbourne, Wurundjeri Country to study a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. 

I chose to study law as a post-graduate student because I have seen first-hand how quickly vulnerable communities can become disenfranchised from their rights. I am passionate about using the law to help empower people with their rights to create systemic change.  

I aspire to use my legal education and skills to amplify marginalised voices in law and policy by working in public interest litigation, particularly for First Nations justice, climate justice and LGBTIQ+ advocacy.  

I am incredibly grateful to Maddocks and The Pinnacle Foundation for supporting these dreams. This scholarship gives me the opportunity to dedicate myself to becoming the best community advocate I can be. It is an honour to join the Pinnacle family and to be surrounded by such sincere and meaningful support.
