Master of Teaching (Secondary) - Edith Cowan University

Bill Chambers Scholarship, WA

Brayden joined The Pinnacle Foundation as a scholar in 2022 and in 2025, Brayden has been awarded a Bill Chambers Scholarship.

My name is Brayden and I currently am a graduate of a Bachelors in Exercise in Sport Science who has continued study into a Masters of Secondary Education at Edith Cowan University commencing in 2025. I have an immense passion for sporting performance, human physiology, mental health and most importantly, coaching!

Over my time in university, I have had the amazing opportunity of gaining vast knowledge into every aspect of how the body works and after completing a practicum with Vario Clinic’s ‘Move Kids’ program, I was especially inspired to help improve teenagers fitness, movement and performance after working at the grass roots level. Now with going on to teaching, I hope to integrate sport science specific knowledge to improve outcomes for students who are aspiring to be the athletes of the future generation or simply just motivating students to increase their participation in a variety of physical activity. In addition to this, I hope to educate and inspire the next generation and increase awareness surrounding LGBTQIA+ people’s health, teaching them what I was not taught because of a school curriculum which has limited LGBTIQIA+ resources.

I would like to give a huge thank you to Bill Chambers for supporting The Pinnacle Foundation and providing this opportunity. I hope to represent The Pinnacle Foundation in a way that will make them proud of everything I have done until now and into the future.
