Arvin (he/him)

Originally from Melbourne and now studying at UNSW in Sydney, my dream has always been to become a doctor. I am currently two thirds of my way through my course. My goal as a doctor is to give back to the community and work to improve health of people of Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, culturally and linguistically diverse and low socioeconomic backgrounds. Outside of medicine, I am currently writing a novel which l am hoping to publish in the next few years.

Being part of the queer community has led to adversity that required a great deal of resilience to overcome, which is what inspired me to apply or The Pinnacle Foundation scholarship. I’m incredibly grateful to Qube and Pinnacle for this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to becoming part of The Pinnacle family!
