Jerome Tse (he/him)

Non-Executive Director; Chair of the Investment Committee

LLB, BCom and LLM (The University of Melbourne)

Jerome is a partner in the tax group at King & Wood Mallesons based in Sydney. He brings over 20 years’ professional experience assisting individuals and businesses to manage their tax affairs and resolve delicate and complex tax disputes. In doing so, he has represented clients at all judicial levels, including the High Court of Australia. Jerome is also keenly interested in tax policy and has regular input into issues that help shape Australia’s tax, transfer and superannuation systems.

In deciding to join the Pinnacle family, Jerome realises that the power of education to transform an individual’s life and, just as importantly, the lives of those surrounding the individual, cannot be underestimated. Jerome has seen the transformational effects of education firsthand within his family and amongst his friends. He hopes to leverage his experience and passion to help The Pinnacle Foundation scholars soar to newer and greater heights.

Jerome was born in Hong Kong and moved with his family to Melbourne when he was only two years old. He has been involved in a number of not-for-profit organisations, including sitting on the board of Minus18, a charity focusing on LGBTIQ+ youth, and acting as a Melbourne committee member for goodcompany, a charity encouraging corporate volunteerism. He is also a member of the Australian Taxation Office’s National Tax Liaison Group, the Vice President of The Tax Institute and a member of the Law Council of Australia. Within King & Wood Mallesons, Jerome is a member of the Cultural Diversity Working Group and an ally of the firm’s LGBTIQ+ network, LINK.

Jerome lives with his husband, Adrian, and one very spoilt cat on Gadigal land. Jerome and Adrian are Foundation Supporters in The Pinnacle Foundation membership program.
