Han Worsley (they/them)
Volunteer Alumni Program Lead
Han is an enthusiastic educator, gender equality and LGBTQIA+ advocate, and public speaker. Growing up on the family farm north of Nullamanna NSW, population 40, has driven Han’s passion for rural and remote communities.
Supported by Pinnacle as a scholar from 2017 – 2021, Han has experienced first-hand the value of community, mentorship, and financial stability for queer students, and has used this privilege to continue a lifetime of volunteering and community building.
Han was CEO of charity, Country to Canberra, from 2019 – 2021, and has won several awards for their service to rural and remote communities. Han was awarded an Australian Institute of Company Directors Scholarship in 2022 and is most proud of how this has facilitated the development of The Pinnacle Foundation’s Alumni Board Development Program.
Han graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Primary Education (STEM), and now juggles a Master of Education (HDR) with life and work on Ngarigo country in Jindabyne, NSW. They are proud to contribute to and learn from The Pinnacle Foundation’s incredible network and programs.
