Gavin Cao (he/him)

Gavin is a seasoned finance professional who has transitioned from executive finance roles to a thriving accounting and financial planning practice. Currently, he is completing a Master of Financial Planning and is eager to bring his extensive experience and fresh perspectives to help individuals achieve their financial goals.

Prior to this career shift, Gavin served as a finance director for L’Oréal ANZ and held other senior finance positions across multiple Australian and international companies. His extensive experience includes providing strategic advice and implementing complex organisational change initiatives, showcasing his ability to drive significant improvements and innovations.

Gavin is a CPA and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Adelaide. His robust educational background complements his practical experience, making him a well-rounded and knowledgeable finance professional.

In April 2020, Gavin joined The Pinnacle Foundation, a cause close to his heart. He is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and understands the unique challenges faced by minority groups within Australia.

Living in Melbourne with his husband, Mark, Gavin is proud to contribute to both the financial sector and the broader community, fostering inclusivity and positive change.
