Dylan Lloyd (he/him)

Australian Capital Territory Committee Chair

A university education gave Dylan access to a welcoming community and reshaped his perceptions of what was possible for someone like him. Inspired by the transformative support he received as a Pinnacle scholar and his desire to help others receive the same opportunities, Dylan joined Pinnacle’s ACT Committee in 2020 and formerly served as ACT scholar liaison.

Before joining Pinnacle, Dylan’s experience included working and volunteering for a variety of not-for-profit organisations, including in roles focusing on LGBTIQA+ equality and mentorship, community legal services and tertiary education policy.

Dylan currently works as a senior legal officer in the Office of Constitutional Law at the Attorney-General’s Department, where he also serves on the PRIDE in AGD Committee.

Dylan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of New South Wales in 2019 and was admitted to the ACT Supreme Court in 2020. He is currently studying a Master of Laws at the Australian National University, specialising in public law.

In 2023, Dylan became one of the first participants in Pinnacle’s Alumni Board Development Program.
