Caitlyn is a senior legal officer in the Office of International Law at the Attorney-General’s Department. Previously, Caitlyn worked on a range of business and human rights, modern slavery, employment, and government advisory matters at large commercial law firms.
Caitlyn was appointed to The Pinnacle Foundation board in April 2023. Caitlyn previously held the roles of chair of the Victorian Committee (2022), national alumni manager (2020-21) and Victorian Committee member (2020-21).
As a former Pinnacle scholar (2014-17) Caitlyn feels strongly about giving back to the Foundation. Caitlyn is enthusiastic about providing support and opportunities to the next generation of LGBTQIA+ young Australians, assisting them to realise their full potential and become role models and leaders in their communities.
In 2022 Caitlyn was awarded a Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship to undertake a Master of Public and International Law. Caitlyn has been involved in a range of charitable and community organisations in volunteer leadership, advocacy and research roles, including at Human Rights Watch, Equality Australia, Australian Marriage Equality and Refugee Legal. Caitlyn was a 2021 Out for Australia 30 Under 30 Award winner and was named Student and Rising Star of the Year at the 2017 Australian LGBTI Awards.
Caitlyn lives with her wife on Ngunnawal country in Canberra.
