Yvette (she/her)

Hello!! My name is Yvette and I am originally from Hobart, Tasmania. I am studying the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at the University of Adelaide and will be in my 5th year in 2026.

Having grown up in Tassie, I moved to Adelaide in 2022 to pursue my studies. Whilst my time in medical school so far has been very rewarding and insightful, it has also been at times quite isolating.

I am so thrilled to be welcomed into the Pinnacle Family as a recipient of the Australian Marriage Equality Scholarship, where I look forward to gaining a sense of community and guidance. At this stage my interests for specialisation after I graduate include emergency medicine, paediatrics and rural generalism.

I endeavor to make somebody’s first encounter with the healthcare system an experience where they feel safe, listened to and cared for. Outside of my studies I love being in the outdoors, knitting and bouldering.
