The Pinnacle Foundation does far more than providing financial support to marganlised students. It creates a strong network of talented LGBT+ youth and transforms us into the leaders that will work together to create a world that is safe for all young LGBT+ people; a world in which they are free to grow, learn and thrive.

Without the support of the Pinnacle Foundation, I would not have had amazing opportunities such as being a research assistant at the Aids Council of New South Wales, a member of the Youth Action Council at Wear it Purple and becoming the Vice-President of the Mental Awareness and Health Association. Furthermore, I have been able to communicate with LGBT+ professionals who are excelling in their fields by giving talks at Norton Rose Fullbright, Stockland Group and Thomson Reuters.

My mentor, Alastair, has inspired me to achieve excellence in all aspects of life and has supported me whenever I have faced personal and academic difficulties. The Pinnacle Foundation has made me proud of who I am, which in turn has made me passionate about giving marginalised young people a voice.
