Olivia (details withheld for privacy)

In 2020 the AGL Scholarship was awarded to Olivia from Victoria. Olivia moved to Melbourne to study and in 2020 she will enter into her second year of a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.

Olivia notes, “I really am fascinated by the idea how technology can help people in so many ways. Getting a Bachelor of Computer Science will teach me so many different things, ranging from cyber security to artificial intelligence (AI) development so I will be able to use what I learn to help others in the future.”

Olivia’s academic results for 2019 were consistently solid with mainly credits and distinctions being achieved. Her mentor is Monica Chand, a New Zealander who moved to Australia in 2003.
