Medicine

VIC

Joining The Pinnacle Foundation has been incredibly meaningful to me, and I am grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of such a generous and inclusive scholarship program.

I am currently enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine at UniMelb, and hope to graduate in 2023 following completion of a Masters of Public Health alongside the MD program.

I was raised in regional Victoria, and undertook home education for the majority of my schooling. I was fortunate to be able to enter Monash Science, before transferring to UniMelb and completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine.

I see medicine as a profession that enables me to have a voice within my local and broader communities, along with the ability to impact the lives of those I serve in very meaningful and powerful ways. I have a strong passion for mental health, along with the unique needs of queer and trans individuals within the healthcare system. I hope to enter paediatrics as a specialty, and see the intersection of these areas as a vibrant niche where I can have a meaningful impact on the future generations of our LGBTIQ+ community.
