Natasha (she/her)

Hi, my name is Natasha, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. My course is four years long, meaning I am officially halfway through my course in 2023!

Despite my short stint of wanting to be a princess at age four, I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up in Perth all my life I was surrounded by wonderful educators who really helped me through some difficult times, and I want to follow this through to the next generation.

My aspiration in life is to create a safe and supportive educational environment for young people and equip them with the knowledge and support to chase their own dreams and aspirations one day.

I appreciate BHP immensely for their huge contribution to this scholarship as not only does it help my studies, but also helps my future students in ensuring they can have the best teacher possible.
