Nagham AL Dennawi (she/her)

Hi, I am Nagham, a first year Criminology and Law student aiming to graduate in 2029. I have always been drawn to questions of justice, and as a queer Middle Eastern woman, I am especially passionate about making the legal system more fair and inclusive.

One day I hope to work as a criminal defense advocate supporting people who are too often unheard or misunderstood.

I am really proud of how far I have come academically, and receiving The Pinnacle Foundation scholarship means the world to me, as it is a reminder that there is a community cheering me on! When I am not studying, I am probably baking a hearty loaf of bread or tending to my garden. My friend say I am a grandma at heart, and I would not have it any other way!
