Bachelor of Information Technology - Southern Cross University
The Essential Energy Scholarship, NSW
I am currently studying a Bachelors in Information Technology at Southern Cross University.
I am hoping to continue into a Masters of Human Rights in 2026.
I have a background across various sectors: health including mental health, human rights, public speaking, politics, migration, youth, LGTBQIA+ advocacy, information technology, aged care, climate change and various other areas.
My most proud achievement to date has been my acceptance to be the Pacific Youth Representative to the Climate Centre of the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC)– allowing me to provide an LGBTQIA+ lens on all things climate within the IFRC movement, and be able to speak at international conferences as a queer, trans, young person that grew in adversity.
I aspire to be a voice for those that cannot in our communities, on a local, national and international stage. I have seen how queer people across the world face adversity simple because of how they identify. That needs to change. We need decision making to be put back into the hands of our youth, and our communities – without it, we will not have true freedom. I want to empower those around me to make that change.
