I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Cell Biology and Genomics at Deakin University. My studies allow me to explore the intricate systems that define life, particularly how genetics and cellular processes influence health.

I chose to study science because, as someone who has experienced anxiety, I find comfort in a discipline that values evidence, understanding, and questioning the status quo. Science offers me a sense of calm control and stability while empowering me to contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of others.

I aspire to pursue a career in dentistry, where I can combine my scientific knowledge with my passion for helping people lead healthier, more confident lives. I am drawn to the people-focused nature of the profession and the opportunity it offers to make tangible differences in my community’s wellbeing.
