Katie (she/her)

Hello, my name is Katie Bird. I am in my final year of studying a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle, based in the Central Coast Local Health District. I am a strong advocate for inclusivity and passionately champion LGBTIQ+ rights. I volunteer with Consent Labs, an organisation which educates young people on consent. I am also a program developer and facilitator, I ensure the workshops are safe spaces for LGBTIQ+ individuals, and sexual assault survivors.

I will be graduating as Doctor Katie Bird in December 2022 and could not be more delighted to embark upon my medical career.
