Katarina (she/her)

Hi, my name is Kata. I am studying software engineering at the University of South Australia in 2023 and am due to finish my course at the end of 2025.

When I am not studying or curled up on the couch with my friends opening Pokémon cards, I am a target rifle shooter. In 2021 even resulted in me being able to compete in the Tokyo Olympics much to my surprise following selection. 

In the future I really want to combat the boys club hold that is prevalent within a lot of IT industries and been a positive influence to young queer people who look at IT industry and want to know if someone like them fits in, like I did.  

I am extremely thankful to both Sam Harvey and The Pinnacle Foundation for giving me the opportunity to continue to pursue these goals and be supported on my journey to reach them.
