Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) - University of Melbourne – Victorian College of the Arts

Clark Walton Scholarship, VIC

am studying a Batchelor of Fine Arts (Musical Theatre), at VCA (Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne). I anticipate to complete this course in 2028. I chose to study this course because of my immense love of theatre, and storytelling. I think the world needs more storytellers, to bring communities together and harbour kindness and compassion.

When I complete the course, I hope to audition and book roles across Australia, in musicals, plays, anything that can give me the outlet to use my passion to inspire and communicate. I’m a young, passionate performer who’s been involved in theatre for 7 years (but theatrical since birth). I was last seen as ‘Josh’ in ‘9 to 5’, ‘Lucas U/S’ in ‘The Addams Family’ (Canberra Philharmonic Society, 2025), ‘Benjamin’ in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ (Canberra Philharmonic Society, 2025), Ensemble in‘The Boy From Oz’ (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2024), ‘Willy Wonka’ in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ (MCC, 2024), and ‘Sebastian’ in ‘The Little Mermaid’ (CGGS, 2023).

Besides musical theatre, I loves costume design, stargazing, and I do a wickedly good Jennifer Coolidge impersonation. I am very grateful to have been awarded the Clark Walton Scholarship – I hope to honour his legacy, by devoting my time to honing my craft, widening my Pinnacle community, and standing up for what is right.

Thank you again to Pinnacle Foundation, for providing a space for young LGBTQIA+ students to grow, and feel connected to a wider supportive community.
