Jordan Anderson (he/they)

Hello, my name is Jordan. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Politics and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney, and I am due to complete these degrees in 2027. I grew up and continue to live in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, making me a dedicated regular on the B-Line bus service. During my time at university, I had the privilege of producing the 2025 Sydney Law Revue. It was an incredible experience to see a show come to life in just a matter of weeks. 

I chose to study law because I have a strong interest in working towards justice in a world where injustice remains widespread. The law is often weaponised against minority communities; however, through my work as a paralegal at a firm that supports the queer community, I have seen the positive impact that the legal profession can have. As I enter the profession, I hope to stand in the way of injustice or, where harm has already occurred, to help remedy it with integrity, diligence, and compassion.
