Jarred (he/him)

Hi, my name is Jarred, I am a second year Juris Doctor (JD) student at Monash University. Prior to commencing my JD, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Political Science at the University of Western Australia.  

I have a keen interest in the intersection of commercial law and public policy and following completion of my JD, I hope to pursue a career contributing to the provision of public services. Particularly with the current public infrastructure boom, I am hoping I can bring together my interests in commercial law and public policy to help better connect our communities and increase the level of public services accessible to all, not just those of us in capital cities.  

I also recognise that I am only beginning my legal journey, as such I am keen to gain a wide exposure to as many different areas of law as possible, to better equip me to tackle such challenges.  

I would like to thank the Macquarie Group for helping me realise my potential through funding my scholarship, I am honoured to have received their support. I am equally as grateful to be joining The Pinnacle Foundation family and for the mentorship and assistance I am about to receive, it will undoubtedly be transformational.
