Grace (she/her)

Hi my name is Grace and I am extremely honored to be joining The Pinnacle Foundation family in 2026 as the recipient of the the Rosalind and Diana Coffey Scholarship. I am currently in my second year of studying a Bachelor of Media and Communications and Bachelor of Philosophy (majoring in Cultural Understanding) in Hobart at the University of Tasmania.

My dream is to be able to work as journalist or screen producer. I have a passion for storytelling, especially telling stories of those who may have not have felt represented. As queer woman I hope to bring my experiences to help share narratives I would have wanted to see growing up. I spend my free time volunteering at my local independent youth-radio station, as well as writing and knitting!

I applied for the Pinnacle scholarship to help fund my ability to continue to study full-time as an independent, as well as having the opportunity to connect with a mentor with similar life experiences as me. This scholarship has given me confidence in my ability to continue in pursing my education and career aspirations.
