Gabriel (he/him)

Hello! My name is Gabriel and I am commencing my third year of study at the University of New South Wales, studying a Bachelor of Arts. After completing my course I would love to pursue further research at the intersection of history, sociology, and gender studies; particularly regarding different manifestations of gender diversity throughout time and culture. I hope that through this path, I will be able to have a positive impact on public policy and social perspectives surrounding the LGBTQIA+ community.

I was born in, raised, and currently live in Western Sydney, and am immensely honoured to have received the Sydney Community Foundation Peter Brennan AM & Michael Lynch Fund Scholarship, generously donated to support LGBTQIA+ individuals from the Western Sydney area. I am also very excited to connect with likeminded scholars looking to make a difference in our community, as well as to dedicate myself to excelling in academic life under the guidance of my mentor.

I am very grateful to The Pinnacle Foundation, as well as Peter Brennan and Michael Lynch, for their investment in my education and future; and am excited to find ways to give back to the Pinnacle community.
