Ethan Floyd (they/them)

My name is Ethan (they/them/theirs) and I am a proud Wiradjuri, Ngiyampaa, and Wailwan yiramarang (“young person”) living on occupied Gadigal and Wangal Country. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney.

Alongside my studies, I work in arts education supporting children with learning difficulties and their families through inclusive gallery experiences that build confidence, connection, and belonging. I have also been involved in student activism around public housing, queer rights, and Palestine solidarity, including successful advocacy through the student union to deliver free menstrual products across campus.

As a first-in-family student studying full-time, The Pinnacle Foundation scholarship will ease financial pressure and help me continue balancing study, work, activism, and community responsibilities.
