Charlie (he/him)

Hi all! My name is Charlie and in 2025 I will be completing my final undergraduate year in a Bachelor of Advanced Sciences majoring in Ecology at the University of Queensland. 

I believe that the conservation field needs people from diverse backgrounds to explore creative and forward-thinking solutions to environmental problems. That is what makes the resources and opportunities provided by this scholarship so invaluable. With this scholarship, I plan to further connect with likeminded people and apply myself to my studies in 2025. After all, no one can make a tangible impact alone. 

Outside of education I am also incredibly passionate about music. I am always keen to hone my skills, with the dream of eventually having some pieces of my own to record and perform. 

I am incredibly excited to be continuing my studies with the help of Tea Uglow and The Pinnacle Foundation, with the hopes of eventually working to protect and restore Queensland’s beautiful and unique environment.
