My name is Casper and I am commencing my second year of study at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), pursuing a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Computer Science. I have always been passionate about mathematics and problem-solving.

Once I complete my degree in 2028, I would like to continue studying to become an Actuarial Fellow, where I can use my skills to solve complex problems and complete meaningful research in the field.

Outside my academics I am a dedicated triathlete, and I would love to continue representing the LGBTQIA+ community as an elite athlete.

I will always appreciate that I grew up in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, a beautiful part of country famous for its bushwalks and escarpments. I now have the privilege of both living and studying in Sydney, which has opened up so many new opportunities both for my career and as a LGBTQIA+ person.

I am incredibly grateful to the Commonwealth Bank for their support, and I am especially excited about the mentoring provided through The Pinnacle Foundation. To have guidance from an LGBTQIA+ industry mentor in an incredible opportunity, and I hope one day to be a role model for other students pursuing their own dreams.
