Alicia (she/her)

Hi, my name is Alicia! I am delighted and proud to become part of The Pinnacle Foundation family in 2023! I am incredibly honoured to be the recipient of The Sam Smith Scholarship powered by UnLtd. 

I am a student at RMIT University, heading into my final year of studies, completing my Bachelor of Communications (Media). I was raised in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Completing my secondary schooling at Marian College in Sunshine West. It was in VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) Studio Arts, where I was introduced to the arts and media industry. Since then, I have been inspired by the industry, and knew I one day wanted to pursue a career in this field of work. Through a few changes in my degree from Fine Arts to Digital Media, I found myself wanting to pursue a career in Communications. Through my degree I have found my true passion, and pursued a life changing internship, where I have been able to create industry connections. 

After graduating, I aim to pursue a career within Communications where I can make an impact with the LGBTIQ+ community. I have a dream one day to create a social media company that is queer based and supports queer artists.
