Host or attend a Picnic for Pinnacle and join us in helping to educate and empower young LGBTIQ+ Australians to achieve their full potential!

Funds support the awarding of educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTIQ+ Australians. Each scholar gains access to funding, a mentor for guidance who shares academic interests, identity and orientation, and becomes a lifelong member of the Pinnacle family and support network.

After the horrible locked down year of 2020, all we want is to be out in nature, breath fresh air and live our best lives. Which is why I will be hosting a simple and casual Picnic on Sat 20th or Sun 21st Feb in the Queen Victoria Gardens in Melbourne. Join us for a lovely afternoon in the Summer sun, graze on delicious food and be merry. If you’d like to attend, please DM me. The theme of the picnic is “Friendship” and I will be dedicating the afternoon to The Pinnacle Foundation. The Pinnacle Foundation is a not-for-profit charity that provides scholarships and mentoring to underprivileged LGBTIQ+ Aussie youths. Despite Australia achieving marriage equality, many young LGBTIQ+ people are still suffering. Research tells us that young adults in the LGBTIQ+ communities are still between five and eleven times more likely to attempt self-harm or experience psychological distress directly related to experiences of stigma, prejudice, discrimination, bullying or abuse.
