The Pinnacle Foundation is grateful and pleased to announce that the Commonwealth Bank has renewed its sponsorship for a further three years.
CommBank has supported the Pinnacle Foundation for the last four years, and in that time has provided 27 scholarships to help bright LGBTI youth to ‘Light The Spark’ within, and achieve their educational and professional goals.
The announcement was made on Friday 12 October at a small celebration in Sydney with Janine Middleton, CEO of the Pinnacle Foundation, Sean Linkson Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director, and members of both the Commbank Unity Team and Pinnacle Foundation Management Committee.
Janine thanked Commbank, “The Bank’s financial support for marginalised LGBTI youth through the Pinnacle Foundation is a great measure of its commitment to equality and social justice.
“It’s powerful to see one of Australia’s largest companies dedicate financial, volunteer and technical support to support our youth with such high potential.”
Warren Perumal, Chair of Commbank Unity, stated “As the Chair of CommBank Unity, I am immensely proud of this sponsorship continuing and providing vulnerable members of the community with an opportunity to complete their education and become our future leaders.”
